Looking to upgrade my seatbox. Been on Davies Angling website and spotted a Preston on box 2012 Ltd edition seatbox for £249.99. Looks OK, anybody got one. Views / opinions greatly appreciated.

I got one last year, old style square legs, seat and frame but with new draws and hinges like current X3/4/5/6S boxes, best of both for me as I have a Korum chair with the same legs so I can use the same accessory inserts with both I added an extra draw to mine go get a bit more storage, like the x4 but side draw not front draw, I can't get on with front draws myself so it works out perfect for me It is heavy loaded and a trolley or barrow is a must but it's sterdy and with the amount of extras available is a good box to build on

unusual tackle, looks like wood!
if it aint broke it will be soon.....
and on the eighth day there was ebay, and it was sold

Dave you'll not be upgrading going from a Milo to a Preston. Look at the Fox Msb(not the Euro) there a bargain from Climax tackle and being modular you can set them up how you like. The build quality is very good, a lot better than the preston in my opinion. Not had any problems with mine.

If you don't weigh in then you've caught f*** all.

They are a decent box for the cash and with the onbox add on units thrown in are worth the cash,

We have sold 23 of the 2011 boxes to date that came with the drawer unit that holds the 4 trays of winders suppied and 4 of the 2012 boxes with the 4 trays of winders located under the seat and the groundbait bowl, sidetray and 2 short keepnet arms,

But We sell them for £225,
