Vince.
I offered my services yesterday at 11.05 and there were several post's after this and not a mention of my offer, even Chippo asked why I had been 'blanked'??
I then posted at 10'ish today that I would do something else as I work nights mate and so my bits are done during the day...
I had my gear ready to go to Monks tomorrow to practice and had already downloaded several articles and blogs etc in the hope that I made the team. I wanted to be part of that team and would have fished my socks off but I got the impression that I wasn't needed to hence made other plans while I could.
I was looking forward to it and hoped that it would be another chance to fish with some good lads and maybe learn something along the way.
I'm sorry that you've taken exception to my post and hope that you now understand why I did what I did.

At the time of your original post I was still waiting for replies from those on the reserve list, thats why I didn't reply straight away, you weren't 'Blanked'.

Vince, does it really matter anyway? I thought that you was struggling for a team and offered myself knowing that I would be out of my comfort zone but still willing to help so please don't suggest that I never wanted to fish-If I say I'm going then thats it, end of mate.

It matters to me when it's suggested that I 'Blanked' you, when clearly that wasn't the case.
Sorry if I've upset you but I was just a bit annoyed when after offering you a place that you say you wanted you then barely waited any time before arranging something else. If you had read the posts above you'd have seen that I said those on the reserve list would get priority. It would have been unfair to give you a place before haaring back from them.

I saw the list of reserves as you posted them:-
The reserves came out as follows:
1. Fishomania
2. M.T.Net
3. Demon Nick
4. Paulvis69
5. Jeff D
6. Milo
7. Kevthecatch
8. Geoffallday
9. Genus9
and 2 anglers got added to the list, Steve A and Bagup, that were not even reserves so I assumed that you had past that stage and my services were not required. If you read my post's again, you'll see that I never actually accused you of blanking me.
Its done now and so don't worry about it, I aint.

You have a place in the team, it worries me though that you associate with Nick Gilbert and Matt Love, surely thats something you shouldn't really admit too.
