Im looking to start up a fishing club and just looking for advice and tips on running one. All input welcome.

Hi mate,
I hope you know what you are getting yourself into as it can be a right pain especially if you are going to do it on your own.
I would try and get interest by putting a few signs up in the local tackle shops or clubs/pubs etc and see how it goes from there.
If you get a decent amount of interest you just need to arrange a meeting and see what sort of people you are going to have in the club and try and see who wants to take on some of the other roles like the treasurer,secretary,match booking ,weighing team ,who will be doing the match draws etc.

you need a good set of rules, agm, membership etc., decide if just for a fishing club visiting waters or you want to run a lake?
