you can catch them anywhere on anything that they can cram in their greedy gobs - no such thing as a duff draw - theres fish in front of every peg

its all about speed and feeding rythm

I'm not fishing this one - as i've promised to help ramsbottom anglers at the Bury Show

so you need two baits - maggot and bread

Spray maggot fish whip or waggler to hand about 18" to 36" deep

Or little balls of liqqied bread with small punch

you should get a bite a chuck

I caught roach on this venue through a hole in the ice on a bare red hook last winter - even though we cropped 10,000 roach out of here in March - its still wall to wall fish

Sorry to say that this match has had to be cancelled, as both the key holders for the venue are unable to make it on the day.
I will post up details of our next two matches Maceys on the 8th July and Sainsburys Pond Blackley on the 22nd July later
