I am concidering joining Newton Anglers, with me moving from a different area of the country i was wondering when you become a member do you receive a map or some directions on how to find the relative waters. Are the waters good and do they host matches @ weekend or throughout the week, any info on the club will be most appreciated

I am a member of Newton Anglers, you will find maps of the waters on the website. There is an active match scene though I'm not a matchman myself. I would thoroughly recommend the club, it has a forward thinking commitee, who are constantly developing and improving their current waters and looking to the future.
They do have a couple of waters where you can go as a guest on a day ticket accompanying a member, try before you buy, but the fishing on offer is great value for money, and no joining fee like many clubs.
Do have a look at the website.
