Arrived here on Friday afternoon with the intention of camping for the night and fishing in the morning. However, when i noticed i had bought the baitrunners along i decided to have a night fishing session last minute.
Cut a long story short i blanked, had about 6 liners through the night but couldn't get anything positive. Tried everything, corn, meat, boilies, pellets.
Here is the peg i fished and the rods at about 4am.

At about half 4 i set up a light waggler rod, fished corn over pellet throughout the day till about 4pm and had about 10 roach and a bream of about 2lb.
All in all a pretty dreadful weekend fishing but it was nice to be out.

not fishing too great on burrows at the moment mate, was that the peg in the corner? we fished it a couple of weeks ago on that peg with my mate being on the peg to the left. i lost one at the net and never got another bite, my mate had two from the lillies on the right hand side of the peg. they seemed to be in the mood then switched off. his went 11 and 18lb if i remember right.

certainly not an easy place mate, not overly stocked. after checking with rich he was fishing a flouro pop up and baiting up with spod mix. as you look at the lake where the burrows sign is he was fishing to the right just off the lily bed. hes not one for rigs so im guessing it was a standard running lead rig mate |

| I know they have recently stocked the Reed lake with new carp and bream. According to the staff the bigger boys are having to compete a bit more for food so they are coming out a bit more often. |

not fished that one mate, is that the one at the side of burrows? when we was there the other week, there was a guy who stays in one of the vans casting from 3/4 of the way up the lake away from where you was fishing into the bottom corner, casting over about three people fishing, what a dickhead he was. not even fishing, just casting reeling casting reeling
