Anybody a member of the above? I have joined it but the club book doesn't give exact locations of the waters and thought would rather ask on here before I phone somebody and pester them!

but surely the committee members listed in the book would have better first hand knowledge of their waters? Ring them and let them talk to you, committee members became committee members because they love the sounds of their own voices.

A pond in Leire, another in South Kilworth, another at Cattthorpe and a bit of the Avon at Stanford Hall

True, but I thought I would try here before I disturbed anyone

Fished the pond in Leire tonight. Fished for just over two hours and had 41 fish, mainly little commons, ranging from around 8oz to about 3lb. Think the pond is slightly overstocked!

Chris, I looked at the Back Lane pond years ago (if it is that one) and it didn't appeal to me. Have you fished any of the other waters yet, especially the Avon?

Yes it is on Back Lane. It is stuffed with fish, just shed loads of little roach and small commons. Way to many fish for the size of the water, but brilliant for taking the youngest as at least I know he will catch. In fact he had a lovely 5lb common on Tuesday from there.

Not been to the Avon yet. I did have a drive down to the one in South Kilworth yesterday just to look at it. Absolutely stunning pond, but access is a pain and not many pegs on it, saw a couple of nice looking commons sunning themselves, hoping to get down there to fish next weekend

I think it's only £35 a year, but I don't know the contact details. If Chris (supersuperleeds) hasn't already responded to you via PM then drop him a PM in case he hasn't seen this request, he's usually very helpful.

Pm sent the other day

My lad lost my top two on Sunday at Leire.

Luckily it was on the Leeda Assassin and the spare kit is dirt cheap. Told him a months worth of washing up should pay it off

Glad that's sorted .

Nice try on the washing up, I bet it doesn't last long.
