Started off on the pellet method with corn hair rigged but the stockies were just knocking the feeder so I changed to red meat on the hair and in the next 4 throws tight to the island and 4 carp (2 stockies and 2 around 3lb) came to the net. On the next cast I dropped it a couple of metres short and the rod was nearly ripped out of my hand while I was sinking the line and in came a 7 pounder. I continued dropping short and occasionally throw around my swim and virtually every cast pup roduced a carp between 3 and 9lb.
All the time I was feeding meat and hemp at 5 metres and in the margin to my right, in the last hour or so I gave both a go and they both produced mostly stockies, a few good hybrids (up to 2lb)and loads of rudd...a big black cloud came over as I was packing up and I had to sit it out for 10 mins under my brolley till it stopped 
After the down pour I wrapped up after a great days fishing on a cracking little fishery
