Carl Baker made the trip to Dog Lane from Stourbridge on Sunday and this time he brought his 'Mojo' with him and had his first win at the venue since last year. The majority of his 7lb 8oz net of pinkie caught roach and perch from peg15, came consistently throughout the match at 7m.

Second place went to Rich Wills (Daventry AC) who drew peg3 on the aerator with a weight of 6lb 12Ľoz of roach caught on pinkie over groundbait.

On Peg10 was Mark Smith from Daventry AC who put 6lb 7oz of roach to the scales to secure third place.

The section wins went to Roger Adkins peg33, John Godwin peg8, and Simon Frankland peg34.

The biggest Perch Pool went to John Godwin who placed a 2lb 3oz specimen on the scales

The conditions on the day: overcast and very strong winds which accounted for three pole breakages and an early bath for Dave West who was unable to continue fishing as there was nothing left of his number 5 pole section to hold onto.

the wind was terrible for some of us , well done to the winners who had better conditions , but STILL had to catch the fish.
