Fantastic football, high intensity and pressing from Liverpool last night in that first half hour and rigorous defending from then on, fair to play to them, that's twice now they have showed how to make City look average.

There wasn't a thing Pep could have done even if perhaps he should have considered doing something sooner.

Nights like last night demonstrate that even as a Utd fan, why I have respect for Liverpool, not just because it was City, just simply playing football that would have blown any team away for that half hour.

Not surprised after the reception Man.City got from the Liverpool supporters. They will have all been traumatized.

I think Liverpool will have to go to the Etihad in armoured cars, there's bound to be repercussions.

Hope not i think we are above that passion is O.k. violence ain't,should be a good game but pity we didn't get an away goal this game was a tale of 2 halves 35 minutes of madness again but fair play to the Pool from my point of view 4-0 will have been end of story

Yes, that could have been a factor, bit like when West Ham 'fans' did it to the Utd coach.

I wouldn't want to take anything away from Liverpools performance though, the football they played couldn't have been contained by any team-traumatised or not.

I hope not, yes we have our share of nutters like everyone else but I hope it does not go off at the Eitihad. Why should we lower ourselves to the Liverpool fans standards.

A team as good as City are not out of it yet, although they might need five, as I can see Liverpool scoring one.
