Frozen lakes big snow drifts and lowest temperature was -8 never went above freezing yet we had anglers who looked like snowmen fishing, and caught in ice holes then Sunday Lookout was solid ice in places 9 inches thick so everyone voted to fish Bowes as ice was thinner and breakable The North of England has some very dedicated anglers

Sunday 4th March 18 open Bowes

water temperature 1.9 deg, snow at start, then icy fog, ambient temp rose above freezing!!! tough conditions

1st John Foster 3lb peg 38
2nd Ray Laing 1lb 12oz peg 12
3rd Ricard Metcalf .5oz peg 37

Well done to all xxx

Ton UP!!!!
Some cracking catches this week fish well on the feed , its been a long winter for them . A Wet week then Sun and blue sky on Sunday, yes! and good weather forecast for week ahead, lets hope thats the winter weather gone and banks dry out and some great fishing continues. For Carp Angel Pellet on hook over Angel pellet feed, silvers use maggot, worm caster and ground bait. Try margins as carp feeding on spawned eggs in reeds, and out dead bottom, up in the water also working fish just hungry.

Sunday 15th April 2016 open Lookout

ambient temp 14 deg wind e 10 mph, barometer 1006 mb, water temp 8.25 deg, Ph 7.65, DO 8.45, mv -20

1st John Foster 185lb 9oz peg 16aa
2nd Dave Pearson 83lb 3oz peg 11
3rd Alan Le Paterel 81lb 9oz peg 1
